Nightmares

If I could sleep peacefully without thinking deep thoughts that I shouldn't be thinking of.

Without letting my mind wander and driving me crazy,

it kills the only emotions and feelings left in me.

So I thought I wasn't alone,

thought you would always be there for me.

But you left me stranded with those thoughts which I couldn't get to stop.

The demons in my mind has a playground now and the nightmares are its friends.

I'm not alone now as the voices in my head are the music playing nonstop.
